Según The Wall Street Journal, las negociaciones entre ambas franquicias no llegaron a un acuerdo, acabando con la posibilidad de una maravillosa historia en la que Capitán América, Hombre de Hierro y Hombre Araña serían los grandes protagonistas del conflicto como en los cómics. Tony Stark de un lado, Steve Rodgers del otro y Peter Parker comenzando de un lado y terminando del otro, que podría terminar con la revelación del rostro del Hombre Araña para el mundo entero.
Lo que sí es una realidad, es que Marvel film, DC film y Sony film están trabajando en una mujer súper héroe, para que así el sexo femenino tenga la oportunidad de demostrar que las mujeres líderes pueden ser tan fuertes como cualquier hombre.
